Hi David,
Can you please tell me how you feel about the frankenfinder vs the other viewfinders you’ve tried? I have an 18, 21 and 24 on order for use with an MM but not sure what finder(s) would be best. I wear glasses which complicates matters further. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thx.
Scott.

Scott,
I tend to use the Leica-brand single-focal-length external viewfinders with 18mm, 21mm, and 24mm lenses. The Frankenfinder is so bulky, I only use it with the WATE, where I especially need it for the 16mm setting. That said, the Frankenfinder is the better viewfinder. The image is larger than with the single-focal length viewfinders. There’s a parallax knob that’s very handy when shooting close up (where parallax is more of an issue). And you can add diopter adapters to the Frankenfinder (look for the big round ones that are compatible with the R). With a diopter adapter, you may be able to shoot without your glasses.
